Diagnostic and Prognostic Roles of GATA3 Immunohistochemistry in Urothelial Carcinoma

This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic and prognostic roles of GATA-binding protein 3 (GATA3) immunohistochemistry in urothelial carcinoma (UC) using a meta-analysis. We investigated GATA3 immunohistochemical expression rates performed subgroup analysis based on tumor site, location, histological subtypes. There correlation better prognosis (hazard ratio: 0.402, 0.311–0.521). Taken together, significantly correlated low-stage UC. is highly variable across subtypes, one should be careful while interpreting expression.
